James Jenkins, M.Ed., LPC

Services Offered

Individual Counseling – Meeting one-on-one with your therapist. These sessions are generally held in the office; however there may be times when a telephone session is appropriate. The focus is on the issues you are experiencing that brought you into therapy.

Family Counseling – The family meets with the therapist in the office to discuss the concerns that brought them in. Often the objectivity of a professional counselor is helpful in understanding and then dealing with the conflict in a positive manner.

Couples Counseling – We work with couples to identify the issues that are impairing the relationship and develop a plan to address these concerns.

Group Counseling – Group counseling is offered for people with similar issues, such as relationships, depression or anxiety. Groups usually are no larger than 8-10 people.

Family Consultation – Often families have concerns about a member who is engaging in inappropriate or dangerous behaviors. We will meet with you to discuss available options for helping your family member, as well as what is needed for the family to deal with life in a positive, goal oriented manner.

Clinical Supervision – Regular scheduled meetings with a licensed professional for persons pursuing licensure. Jim Jenkins hasĀ 3 years experience in providing on-going supervision to clinicians in both private and public agency settings.
